Wordless Wednesday: UC Santa Cruz Arboretum

What a gorgeous place to visit in December! The UCSC Arboretum features Mediterranean-climate plants from all over the world, many of which are at their gorgeous best in winter. Enjoy!

  1. You're killing me with all of those stunning shots. Most of those are not hardy for me way up here in the Seattle suburbs. In fact many have to be admired in bouquets or dried for long term enjoyment.
I'm so excited to see your pictures from your lovely day. Green with envy!

  5. Love the intense color. I've always been impressed with the show the leucadendrons put on this time of year. Such awesome plants. Great photos.

  6. Beautiful! Unfortunately I'm in the same situation as the personalgardencoach...I too can only admire these blooms as cut flowers. How I wish I could grow them in my garden.
